Description
Wall monument on the south exterior Wall of St Stephen's Church, Norwich. Features possibly a sun shining, which represents everlasting life, and a winged angel's head, representing resurrection. Inscription on stone reads: "Scared to ye Memory of / MR THOMAS BARBER / Attorney at Law / Who died April 12th 1819 / Aged 59 Years / Also / MARY his beloved wife / Who died Oct 4th 1816 / Aged 68 Years". Mounted on board. Signed and titled bottom of image.
